Episode #033 Mindfulness Made Sexy with Dr. Jenn

“I don’t have much of a drive to have sex. How can I want to have sex?” Variations of this questions come into my office quite frequently. Other questions consist of some form of “I’m not as into it as I want to be/feel like I should be.” These questions are hard to answer because each person has different experiences, histories, relationships, expectations etc. Today Dr. Jenn is going to explore one of the main steps you can take to address how your libido is affected by your mind and how to change it.

Dr. Jenn takes us through a mindfulness example you can do with us in the recording. She explores the power of mindfulness, how it’s different that meditation, how to use it during sexual experiences, addressing judgment, and how compassion affects sex much more than you might think. Dr Jenn has been teaching mindfulness as a part of sexual health for years. She is currently writing her book “From Madness to Mindfulness” and is eager to share her knowledge with The Hive on this episode.
